Ranks & Progression

The Guild recognizes four ranks, each representing a different level of mastery and responsibility.

Initiate

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of at least one programming language
  • Completed the Guild's introductory rites
  • Chosen an Order to align with

Permissions

  • Access to public Codex entries (Novice level)
  • Participation in Order discussions
  • Viewing of public Artifacts

Adept

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in your chosen Order's discipline
  • Contributed at least one Artifact or Codex entry
  • Completed intermediate rites of your Order

Permissions

  • Access to Adept-level Codex entries
  • Ability to propose new Artifacts
  • Participation in Order rituals and ceremonies

Architect

Requirements

  • Mastery of multiple disciplines across Orders
  • Created significant Artifacts recognized by the Council
  • Mentored at least three Initiates to Adept status

Permissions

  • Access to Master-level Codex entries
  • Authority to review and approve Artifacts
  • Access to restricted Archive sections
  • Participation in Council deliberations

Magister

Requirements

  • Unprecedented contributions to technomancy
  • Recognition by unanimous Council vote
  • Creation of foundational Artifacts or Protocols

Permissions

  • Full access to all Guild resources
  • Authority to establish new Orders
  • Access to the deepest Archive secrets
  • Voice in all Council decisions
Progression through the ranks is not automatic. Each advancement requires demonstration of skill, contribution to the Guild, and recognition by the Council of Arbiters.
