The Guild recognizes four ranks, each representing a different level of mastery and responsibility.

Initiate
Requirements
- Basic understanding of at least one programming language
- Completed the Guild's introductory rites
- Chosen an Order to align with
Permissions
- Access to public Codex entries (Novice level)
- Participation in Order discussions
- Viewing of public Artifacts

Adept
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in your chosen Order's discipline
- Contributed at least one Artifact or Codex entry
- Completed intermediate rites of your Order
Permissions
- Access to Adept-level Codex entries
- Ability to propose new Artifacts
- Participation in Order rituals and ceremonies

Architect
Requirements
- Mastery of multiple disciplines across Orders
- Created significant Artifacts recognized by the Council
- Mentored at least three Initiates to Adept status
Permissions
- Access to Master-level Codex entries
- Authority to review and approve Artifacts
- Access to restricted Archive sections
- Participation in Council deliberations

Magister
Requirements
- Unprecedented contributions to technomancy
- Recognition by unanimous Council vote
- Creation of foundational Artifacts or Protocols
Permissions
- Full access to all Guild resources
- Authority to establish new Orders
- Access to the deepest Archive secrets
- Voice in all Council decisions
Progression through the ranks is not automatic. Each advancement requires demonstration of skill, contribution to the Guild, and recognition by the Council of Arbiters.
